Glenda M. Franco, LEED AP

A native of El Salvador, Glenda Franco moved to Houston in 1985. She attended the University of Houston's Gerald D. Hines College of Architecture and graduated as class salutatorian with summa cum laude honors in 2004. She earned a Bachelor of Architecture and a Bachelor of Science in environmental design with a minor in psychology; she also served as the secretary of the University of Houston Habitat for Humanity Student Chapter. As a senior, she was a member of the University of Houston Architecture Foreign Studies program where she had the unique opportunity to explore historic preservation in Mexico. While there, she was involved in documenting a 16th-century Franciscan monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Glenda joined Jackson & Ryan Architects in February 2005 and was named Senior Associate in 2020. In her time here, she has worked on a variety of projects, such as schools, churches, museums, libraries and office buildings. She is an associate member of the American Institute of Architects and is LEED AP accredited.
